BBQ: Baby Back Shack on Akard (by Southside), off the bone (near southside) or Dave's Meat Market on Jupiter for take-out. Original Sonny Bryans (on Inwood near Harry Hines)
Pho: Pho Bac on Plano Rd @ Beltline in Richardson or Bistro B on Walnut Street @ Audelia
Thai: Thai Lotus on peak & bryan, Tukta Thai (plano rd. at walnut hill)
Indian: Punjabi Dhaba (by Bollywood Video in Richardson) or Gopal on 75
Greek: Stratos on NW Hwy @ Webb Chapel or Kostas on Greenville Ave.
German: Black Forest Café (behind Half Price) off NW Hwy or Kuby's in Snider Plaza

Burger: Dels in Richardson (charcoal grilled) or Jakes (all locations with poppy seed buns). also good is Twisted Root Burger (both Dels & Twisted make their own root beer in house)
Drive-up Burger: Kellers (NW Hwy @ Skillman) with the grilled onions
Pizza: Sali's on Beltline in Garland (wonderful white pizza), I Fratelli on MacArthur (better than campisi's imho). Pizza Lounge on Parry across from Fair Park has lovely gourmet toppings
Veggie Buffet: Veggie Garden (in Richardson on Arapaho) or Souper Salad (kids eat free on sundays).
Best Vegeterian: Kalachandjiis (beautiful garden patio restaurant inside a temple)
Vegetarian: Spiral Diner (in Oak Cliff or Ft Worth) or Cosmic Café (on Oak Lawn)
Best happy hour: Stratos on NW Hwy or Tejanos on Davis (both last from lunchtime till like 6 or something & have great appetizer menus)
Best late night afterhours fooding: Café Brazil (75 @ University or Cedar Springs) or Buzzbrews (on 75 or on Lemmon), Snookies on Oak Lawn
Best morning after brunch: Breadwinners on McKinney in Uptown
Best date restaurant: Avanti (on the groundfloor of Fountain Place on Ross) or Sambuca (on McKinney Ave.) with music & tapas
Gourmet Chocolate: Dude Sweet Chocolate (in Oak Cliff off Bishop) or CocoAndre (on Davis also in OC)
Refillable Beer Growlers with local Craft Beers: Craft & Growler on Parry
